Employees are the greatest company assets – a good employer probably will agree. What makes a good agile team?

PSM: Professional Scrum Master. The de facto leader of the team. He or she runs the team a la laissez faire. The leader is not expected to maintain order to ensure that the expected outcomes are to be achieved in Azure courses.

PSD: Professional Scrum Developer. Expert of software development in the team and the person responsible to deploy Scrum principles. IT Infrastructure staff, PMO members, and software developers will benefit from a PSD certification.

PSDO: Professional Scrum Product Owner. The person is the key stakeholder in a project. He or she is to guide the scrum team with a vision of what’s to be accomplished for Azure certification.

Building A Stellar Scrum Team

It takes time for agile teams to grow and become a fully high functional team. As such, scrum teams will undergo “stages of development”. When the team has matured in performing stage, smooth development is a bliss.

What makes a good agile team?

Continuous mentoring. In an ideal setting, each team member can learn and impart knowledge to others. Each team member brings their own unique abilities unknown to others.

Shared skill sets. It’s essential to keep an open mind and learn from each other. This is to better enable team members to support each other with skills that complement and enhance the overall individual contribution to the project.

Cross Collaboration

Scrum eliminates the struggles faced by employees in siloed organizations. While a scrum framework encourages everyone to participate, and work together, what is to be done to achieve full collaboration between team members?

Encourage activity-based training courses together. Scrum team members can be sent to undergo PSF: Professional Scrum Foundation to reskill them. Team members can develop a shared learning experience together. Challenging tasks would require them to engage and think as a team to solve the problem.

Instill a growth mindset among team members. A growth mindset is whereby a person believes that his innate qualities would help him or her to cultivate and overcome challenges. He or she should be encouraged to believe that their skills honed over the years would aid their performance in a new work environment.

Introduce Pairing Technique. A pairing technique in which one employee is the driver while the other is an observer. Together they work as a team and switch roles regularly so that the less experienced team member can slowly hone his or her skills. This can be done while under the supervision of the driver and the observer can trace the quality of expected work output.
